With 56 energetic Yogic participants, we had a blissful Yogic Green Tour in the southern part of Karnatka which included yoga class members, their family & friends.

21-Nov-2015[Sun] - Visited Kalasa Temple & Mullayyanagiri at Chikkamagaluru.
Bhagamandala (Triveni river sangama) :
Started at 10.00 PM at Bangalore and reached Bhagmandala @ 4.00 AM morning. We had a holy bath in the sangamam in the freezing climate in the COLD water after reaching there. Most interesting part of this holy bath is that we had performed a Sadhana of chanting the "Gayathri mantra" in the sangama. It is believed that performing a holy bath is such divine place will bring lots of Punya.
Raja Seat - Madikeri :
A beautiful viewpoint in Madikeri. It is believed to be the summer Retreat of Maharajas, Tippu Sultan.
MADIKERI : TalaKaveri (birth place of river Kaveri) :
It is the birthpalce of the river Kaveri which gives its blessings to Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and makes the farmland fertile.
KUKKE SUBRAMANYA to SAKLESHPUR TRAIN JOURNEY:
This is one among TOP 10 train routes in India. This stretch of 52Kms passes through 57 Tunnels, 109 Bridges, Several water falls, Rivers, Green Mountains of Western Ghats, etc. Superb nature retreat.
MANJARABAD FORT near Sakleshpur :
It's a star shaped Fort built by Tippu Sultan. A famous view point. A paradise for photography & nature lovers.
HORANADU :
Visited Annapoorneshwari Temple. Annapoorneshwari is the Goddess of Food. The great deity of Sri Annapoorneshwari's was done by His Holiness Agasthya Maharishi. It is believed that, one who visits this temple and performs prayer seva here, will be always blessed with good food in their life. This temple is amid super green mountains. The name Annapoorneshwari means "Feeding one and all". All who visit this temple are provided with breakfast, lunch and dinner and also tea and coffee who need. And provide place to sleep on the temple premises.We had a delicious free Dinner [ Rice, Sambar, Rasam, Buttermilk, Payasam] in the temple premises. We are delighted by the temple's quality free service of food and hospitality.
Kalasa :
Visited Kalaseshwara Temple in Kalsa and got the divine blessings of Lord Shiva. During the wedding of Lord Shiva and Lord Parvathy in Himalayas, there is some shift in the earth's balance. So Lord Shiva request sage Agasthiya to go towrads south. Sage Agasthya travelled southward and resided in Kalasa from where he watched the wedding. Local legends state that a pilgrimage to Kalasa brings greater religious merit (punya). When you visit Annapporneshwari Temple, you must surely visit this Temple which is just 8 kms away.
MULLAYYANAGIRI PEAK near Chikkamagalur :
This is south India's second highest peak point at 1930 mtrs above sea level. It is the highest peak between the Himalayas and the Nilgiris.A famous hill station in Karnataka. Had a excellent have GREEN TREKKING here. Had 4 Kms of superb trekking. The whole area was surrounded by lush green mountains, dense fog, awesome clouds, breeze, drizzling rain, golden sun rays.Inaddition to the treeking we have played fun games, Facial Yoga, Meditation. There is a small shiva temple at the top of the hill. Most highlight of this trip is the Meditation in the Shiva Temple on the top of the hill while chanting "Om Namahivaya". It is a blissful experience.
Fun Games / Activities :
Inaddition to visiting places Master Rajkumar conducted lots of activities and fun games within the bus and the Mullanyyanagiri hill to make the journey entertaining. All his creative games are excellent and beautiful.
