Karma literally means "Action". As per the Law of Karma "As we sow, so we reap. What goes around comes around. If you do good, something good will come back sooner or later in ten folds".
If you wondered why a baby is born in a bungalow and other not in a good environment. It depends on it's Karma. It is told in our sacred texts that the good and bad deeds come along with the soul in every birth.
As per our Hindu scriptures everyone takes birth until all the karmic account is empty. Once the karmic account is nullified, the soul merges with the Divine light.
If you are enjoying your life filled with good health, happiness, peace and love. Be assured that you have spread love, peace, happiness either in your previous incarnation or in this current incarnation.

Incase if somone hurts you, please be informed that he is just a tool used by your Karma to nullify your bad karma. So, there is no point in showing anger or hatred towards him. After understanding this law we need to forgive the enemy and bless them also with good will, peace, love, happiness and harmony.
It is for the same reason Lord Jesus quoted "If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you - Matthew 6:14"
Law of Karma - Story :
In a small village there lived Ram and Shiva who are good friends. Ram is a very good person who do lots of service and help everyone in need.
Shiva is not doing job and he use to steal and tell lots of lies. Even-though Ram is a good person he was suffering a lot financially and mentally.
However, Shiva is living a happy life with lots of money.
One day both Ram and Shiva was going to next village through a forest. On the way, a thorn has got inside the foot of Ram and he was bleeding.
In parallel Shiva found a pot full of gold. Surprised by this injustice by the God, Ram approached a sage in the forest who is performing meditation.
Ram waited for the sage to complete his meditation and he fired him the question that is disturbing his mind for a long time. He asked the sage "Why God throws lots of problem to me even though I do lots of good. However, Shiva is blessed with many things even though he do lots of bad things"
Sage smiled at Ram and he explained that "God equally love everyone in this beautiful world. He created the world and created the Law of Karma to govern everyone's life. He also given freewill to everyone to choose the path of his life. In the past incarnation You have accumulated lots of bad deeds for which you suffer a lot in this incarnation. As per the law, you are supposed to be died today. However your good deeds in this incarnation have saved you with a small thorn injury. In contrast Shiva have done lots of good things in his past incarnation. He was supposed to be a Rich person with lots of wealth. However, based on his bad deed in this incarnation he got only a small pot of gold".
Ram face got delighted and he was happy thereafter and continue performing good deed and his life changed soon filled with happiness.
All great saints including the Shirdi Sai Baba and Mahavatar Babaji strongly agreed to this Law of Karma. It is the universal law of universe defined by the GOD. Now you can understand why you had happiness and success in your life.
In-case if you are going through a rough phase in your life, please believe in GOD and surrender to him completely. GOD is a symbol of Love and he will rescue his devotees who surrenders to him completely. He is the creator of this law and he has the power to nullify your bad karma.
