Meditation - The Beginners Guide

Meditation is a utlimate solution to Peace,happiness and bliss. We have the solution within all of us, however we are searching it outside. 

20 minutes of Stillness will bring lots of positive changes in our life. If you are a person who is searching for answers for your questions, I assure you that meditation will give you the perfect answer. 


Everyone has the guiding genie within all of us. Our mind is always busy failing to hear the advice from the infinite intelligence. 


All the Inventions in this world are done during the trans meditative state. Even Edison and Einstein has agreed this theory that a great Consiousness has guided them. 


So let's do Meditation daily and lead a life which is Physically, Mentally, Emotionally and Spiritually healthy.




How to do Meditation ? 
  • Step 1 : Sit in a comfortable postion. You can sit in chair or in the floor.If sitting on the floor, please use a mat.
  • Step 2 : Join your hands and Pray to your God / Universer for guidance and help. 
  • Step 2 : Keep your hands Open or use Gyan Mudhra.
  • Step 3 : Close your eyes 
  • Step 4 : Observe your breath coming in and out slowly.Mind wanders, however, make your concentration back to your breath. 
  • Step 5 : Sit it meditation for about 20 minutes. 

Tips : 
  • Do meditation in the same place. 
  • Do meditation in the same time. 
  • Wash your hands, legs and face before meditation.

  • It secrets the key hormones like Melatonin, endorphins and Serotonin.
  •  It relieve pain and relaxes the mind. 
  • It gives good sound night sleep.

Forgiveness - A Gift for your Mind..!!

"Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned - Buddha"

If you would like to give a gift to your mind, then you must fogive the people whom you hate (or) angry with. In some cases, you might be hating yourself, in this case you need to forgive yourself also. 




A beautiful Zen story explains the importance of forgiveness. One day, a Zen master asked his disciples, whether they hate someone ? Almsot everyone noded "Yes". 

He requested them to take a small bag and fill it with the potatoes. If they hate a person, then they should put a single potato in the bag. If they hate two persons, two potates need to be put in the small bag. Inaddition to that he has informed them to carry this bag wherever they go. 



Disciples thought this as an simple task and agreed for it. Disciples have carried the potatoes wherever they go.  After some days the potato started to rotten and it stated giving bad odour. 

Disciples find it very difficult to carry with them anymore. Disciples who have more potatoes are the persons who have affected a lot. So they went to the Zen master and requested them to stop this practise. 

Zen master laughed loudly and informed, this is what it happens in the mind when you fill it with hatred. He informed them that "If you promise me to remove the hatred from your mind then you can throw your potatoes away". Everyone agreed and throw the potatoes away. 

This simple story explains us about the importance of removing the hatred from our mind. 

Our mind is the software which controls the physical body. Once your mind is filled with hatred and anger it will start releasing the negative hormones which increases the blood pressure, depression, indigestion, heart attack, etc. 




It is for the same reason all our ancient scriptures has stressed the importance of forgiveness. If you want to be happy and healthy, you need to cultivate the habit for fogiveness. From nowonwards, lets take a oath that we will forgive everyone including ourself. 

Affirm loudly the following statements throughout the day as much as possible. 

  • "I forgive everyone including myself"  
  • " I Love everyone including myself" 
  • "I am calm and relaxed in every situation"

Affirmations - Conscious Programming of Mind..!!

Positive Affirmations are positive/inspiring phrases that you repeat to yourself which programs the sub-conscious mind. Once the Sub-conscious mind is programmed, it can do miracles. An affirmation works like “fake it until you make it”.  

Words we speak and the thoughts we think, silently programs our sub-conscious mind. It is believed that on an average we have around 70,000 thoughts per day.

Surprisingly, only 10% of the thoughts are positive and useful.  If we are able to increase the positive thoughts percentage then we can rewrite our future.

One of the best and easy tool available with us to program the mind is called as “Affirmations”.    




How to repeat the Affirmations ?
  • As soon as you wake up in the morning slowly close your eyes and repeat the affirmations.  
  • Affirmations can be repeated all over the day whenever we have time [ (i.e) In bus, car, waiting in queue, etc]  
  • Power of affirmations will be multiplied, if you say it watching your eyes in the mirror.
  • Before falling asleep, sit in a comfortable position and tell the affirmations closing the eyes.

Easy Tips for happier and healthier life


  1. Do Meditation for atleast 20 minutes daily. 
  2. Do exercise for 20 minutes in the morning. 
  3. Eat only when feeling hungry.
  4. Chew the food properly while closing the lips. 
  5. Ensure that the food is mixed with saliva completely. 
  6. Stop eating when the stomach is 3/4 full. 
  7. Don't speak while eating. 
  8. Don't watch Television while eating. 
  9. Don't drink water while eating. 
  10. Drink water only in the glass (or) Cup sipping it slowly. 
  11. Bless the food / water before intake. 
  12. Sleep early and Wake up early in the morning. 
  13. Eat healthy vegetables, greens, and fruits. 
  14. Avoid eating unhealthy processed food items. 
  15. Walk in the stairs and don't use lift. 
  16. Whenever possible walk in bare foot.
