In Kalli Yuga, there will be both happiness and sorrow. However, we can nullify the sorrow and be happy always by chanting the holy names of God as per the Upanishads. Some of the holy names are given below for your reference.

Whenever you chant the holy names of God, the God sends his messenger or gives your strenght to solve your existing problems. But we need to have faith and patience. Please be informed magic and miracles happen for only those believe in the God.
God doesn't come to rescue until and unless we call him for our rescue. Our Ego will stop calling him thinking that we can handle it. However once the ego is broken the God enters the scene and rescue us.
One best example can be quoted from Sri Madh Bhagavadham. In the story of Gajendramoksha it is beautifully described. An Elephant called Gajendra will go to the lotus pond to pick flower to do prayer for Lord Narayana. However the crocodile in the pond will catch his leg and start biting it. Blood starts to bleed, however the Elephants ego doesn't allow to call God for rescue. The fight between the Elephant and the Crocodile goes for around 1000 years. When the Elephant was in the last stage of death, its ego vanishes and calls the Lord Narayana for help. Lord Narayana was waiting for this call until now for 1000 years. Lord Narayana reaches the spot within the blink of eye and using his chakra kills the Crocodile and saves the Elephant.
Until the man thinks that he can protect and guide himself, the God doesn't come to help him. Once he loses his ego and surrender the lotus feet of God magics and miracles will start happening in his life.
