Bhavish Aggarwal is the CEO and founder of the most popular Ola cabs in India. 

Bhavish Aggarwal was born in Ludhiana. On 2008, he completed his studies in IIT-B. He begins his career with Microsoft Research and worked for around 2 years. After he quits Microsft, he started olatrip.com to give customers customised tour packages. 

However, the real turning point came when Bhavish was travelling from Bangalore to Bandipur in a Taxi. Driver have stopped the car in the middle of the journey and started negotiating the amount to be paid for the trip. When Bhavish doesn't agree for the proposal, he was dropped on the middle of the raod. 

This incident have given the spark for Bhavish Aggarwal to start his own Ola taxi business. Ola was started in 2010 with a mission to give quality service with an affordable rate. 

In the early days Bhavish did everything to make the customers happy. Indeed, he himself have taken the role of the driver and dropped the customer when the Ola driver didn't turn up ontime. It is this commitment and dedication by the founders and the team that made Ola a grand success. 

Instead of buying cars, they have allowed the local Taxi drivers to attach to Ola and have introduced Mobile App for bookig cabs. Soon after it's launch, it was a grand success. Ola cabs charge a minimum of Rs.6 per KM which is less than a Auto and Ola share is charged approx at Rs.3 per Km. 

Ola provide Taxi service for around 102 cities in India with over 1 million requests every day. It has around 350,000 vehicles serving 25 Million customers. It is valued over 5 Billion dollars currently. It is the market leader with 78% share. 

Bhavish still doesn't own a car and uses cabs to move around. Bhavish Aggarwal have broken the groundrule that the Taxi must be hired only by the rich. He made Taxi ride a possible dream to every Indian.  

I have written this article as I am also one of the happy customers of Ola cabs who commutes to office daily by Ola. I really love the quality of service and the business model.

Happy Souls @ Happiness Workshop

By the blessings of the Divine, the Happiness workshop conducted by me on 28-Aug-2016[Sun] was a grand success. It was attended by people from different age groups from 6 Years  to 60+ Years.

I am very happy that the participants found the program very useful. I am confident that the program will surely help to transform their life positively filled with happiness. Each and everyone have actively participated in all the fun games and events.  

Special Thanks to the participants especially the kids, who have showcased their talent brilliantly. I am pleasantly surprised by the kids good grasping power.Special Thanks to the happy Zen volunteers Rajesh Kanna, Geetha Rajesh, Praveen, Pandian, Girija Pandian for organising this event beautifully.

I was delighted, when a person aged 60+ years came to me after the program and hold my hand and expressed his gratitude that the program was "Good". It is this beautiful moment, that I would like to earn through my life. It makes my life beautiful.

I thank God for giving this opportunity to make someone happy for 5 continuous hours.

The Happy Zen - TTC (Tear To Clear) Technique

In this post, I would like to present you a most powerful technique to clear your mind and fill it with positive energy. Before going to sleep, follow the below TTC (Tear To Clear) technique : 

• Step 1 - Write down your problems including your anger and stress in a white piece of paper.
• Step 2 - Visualize that all the problems have been transferred from your mind to the white sheet of paper when you write.
• Step 3 - Tear the paper into pieces and drop it in the dustbin.
• Step 4 - Now your mind is free, filled with calm and peace. 
• Step 5: Slowly close your eyes and take 10 deep breaths.You will be in Alpha state now. 
• Step 5 - Silently in your mind utter the following positive affirmations 

 "I am Healthy. I am Happy. I am Peace. I am bliss. I am calm.I am Relaxed. I am blessed. I am Love.  I am Divinely protected. I am Divinely Guided.Thank you God for all your blessings"

The Happy Zen - Tips for Successful Public Speaking

I have mastered the art of public speaking after years of sincere practice and effort. In the below article, I have given the simple tips that I am following to give a world-class presentation/speech.  

Home-Work : 

• Watch TED/Toastmaster videos in YouTube to learn the body language and tone of the speaker. 
• 93% of your communication will be through your body language and tone of delivery. So concentrate more on it. 
• Practice your Presentation/Speech in front of mirror by watching your eyes. 
• Do lots of homework about the subject that you are presenting. It increases your confidence. 
• The day before the presentation, visualize that you are delivering a brilliant speech and everyone appreciates and congratulates you. ( Winston Churchill uses this technique and he exactly knows when people claps, smiles, etc ).

Before Presentation : 

• Arrive 30 mins early to the presentation hall.
• Dress neatly and decently. 
• Switch off your phone during presentation.
• Have a small bottle of water to hydrate you during presentation.
• Close your eyes and watch your breath for 5 mins before presentation. It relaxes and calms the mind. 

During Presentation :

• When delivering the speech watch the eyes of the audience.
• Have a smile on your face during presentation.
• Keep your hands Open [ (i.e) Don't keep the hands on your pocket or tie your hands ] 
• Use lots of humor during speech / presentation.
• Make the presentation colorful with more images and less words.
• Have an interactive presentation session and ask simple questions to the Audience.
• Be bold and confident during the presentation.
• If someone asks a question which you don't know, it is perfectly "OK" to say "Sorry I don't know. I will check and get back to you". 
• Make your audience comfortable.
• Believe that you are the "King" in the presentation arena. 
• Finish the presentation within time. 

Last but not least, practice makes a man perfect. Give lots of presentation and one day, you will rule the stage. Everything is possible, if you Believe.
