Green Tea - The Elixir on Earth

Green tea, which is loaded with Antioxidants has been used in Traditional Chinese medicine for centuries to improve the overall physical and mental health.

Tea is considered as the most widely drinking beverage next to Water. However, 78% of the tea consumed is black tea and only 20% is Green Tea. Black tea is brewed from dried leaves of Camellia sinensis plant. However, fresh leaves are steamed to produce Green tea which contains more Antioxidants and nutrients. 

How to Prepare Green Tea ? 

  • Step 1 : Take one cup of hot water. 
  • Step 2 : Infuse the Green tea bag for 2 ~ 3 minutes in the hot water. 
  • Step 3 : Remove the Tea bag and mix it with a stirrer. 

Important : Avoid using refined white sugar or milk.

Green tea contains huge amounts of Anti-oxidants,B vitamins, folate, manganese, potassium, magnesium, and little amount of caffeine.

  • In 2014, a research published in the journal "Psychopharmacology" suggests that green tea can enhance our brain's performance. 

Christopher Ochner,a research PHD Nutrition scientist quotes, "It's the healthiest thing I can think of to drink".
