Mahan Sri Sheshadri Swamigal - The Miracle Rain

Mahan Sri Sehshadri Swamigal ( Swamiji ) lived in his physical body from 1870 to 1929. He was born by the blessing of Goddesses Devi Kamakshi. From his early childhood, he was attracted towards Spirituality and sit like a yogi for a long duration. 

Balaji Swami (Haridwar) have initiated Swamiji with Divine mantras. Swamiji understood all the secrets of Universe within a short time of chanting the mantras. 

He stayed in Thiruvanamalai for most of his life and did lots of Miracles in the life of his devotees. He used to chant some mantra's continuously and when asked he told that he is chanting to clear his karmas and he requested everyone to chant to clear their Karmas also ( Even our Vedas / Upanishads) also suggests us to chant the holynames of God in this Kali Yuga to safeguard themselves from the ill effects of Kali Purisha. 

It was drought in and around Thiruvanamalai for a long time. People were suffering with heat and there is scarcity of water everywhere. It is during this time, R.V.Ardhanari requested Swamiji to bring rain for this town and bring happiness. During that time of request, it has a clear blue sky and there is no sign of rain. 

Swamiji immeditaley answered his prayer and within 10 minutes there is heavy rain continuously for 3 hours. 

During HIS lifetime, he have also cured many diseases with a blink of an eye. 

Whenever you visit Thiruvanamalai, you should visit his Jeeva Samadhi which is just 300 meters away from Ramanashram.

Mahan Sri Seshadri Ashram have a pure Veg restaurant ( Aakash Sesha Bhavan ) inhouse, that serves tasty veg food for a nominal price.
