How people treat you is their Karma; how you react is Yours - Wayne Dyer
We have the habit of complaining our boss, spouse, children, friends, etc for our sufferings in this world. However, no one in this world is ready to accept that, they themselves are responsible for their sufferings / happiness.
We always tell that if I have a good boss or good spouse, I will be happy. However everyone forgets that it is only they, attract their boss or spouse into their life based on their thoughts / Karma in the current or past incarnations.
There is one beautiful line from Purananuru (Tamil Literature), which states that "Theethu Nandrum Pirar Thara Vara" (Good or Bad doesn't come to us from others).
Until you blame someone for your suffering, it won't end. Once you take responsibility for your sufferings, you get peace of mind and you will start blessing the person who have given the pain to you.
Vedhathiri Maharishi have instructed us to bless everyone, even our enemies as "Vazhga Vazhamudan" (Live in Abundance) to get happiness and peace of mind.
You are the driver of your life and your suffering in the present situation might be due to your past Karma. First, you should understand it and start loving everyone.
Second, our ancient scripture have given a simple solution to nullify your bad Karmas from your Karmic account. It says that "Just by chanting / hearing the holynames of God, you can safeguard yourself from the effects of your past Karmas".
All great Spiritual Masters like Srila Prabhupad, Yogi Ramsuratkumar, Muralidhar Swamigal, Swami Ramdas, etc have preached the importance of chanting the holynames of God.
You can chant the holy names of God, only if you have done crores of good deeds.
It is for the same reason, in the ancient days out ancestors have kept the holy names of God (Ram, Shiva, Ganesh, Lakshmi, Krishna, Vishnu etc) to their children. You will get good deeds even if you call your children by their name (It must be a name of God). In Srimad Bhagavadham, Ajmaal will be saved from going to Hell, just for calling his last son by his name "Narayana".
